In founding Remedy Functional Medicine clinic based in Portland, OR, Stacy has created a space that focuses on metabolic health through a holistic, patient-centered approach, emphasizing preventative care and long-term wellness. Her practice is driven by the principles of functional medicine, advocating for thorough and compassionate patient care.
Raised in Southern California, Stacy's passion for healthcare began early, steering her towards a career in emergency medicine and family practice. Her diverse background, coupled with personal experiences navigating family health challenges, has shaped her unique perspective on patient care, which is deeply rooted in compassion and wellness.
Stacy's career includes over 16 years in acute care and emergency medicine, where she observed firsthand the limitations of conventional medicine. Her certifications in Family Medicine (FNP-BC) and Adult Gerontology Acute Care (AGACNP-BC), along with ongoing training in functional medicine, empower her to provide evidence-based, root-cause-focused care. She is also pursuing certifications in Functional Medicine (IFMCP) and Anti-Aging & Metabolic Medicine (FAAMM) to further enhance her practice.
Outside her clinical work, Stacy enjoys spending time with her family and her German shepherd, exploring Oregon's natural beauty through road trips and hikes.
