Dr. Kunz’s passion for preventative medicine took root during her childhood on an organic dairy farm in Indiana. This early exposure inspired her to pursue a doctorate in naturopathic medicine from the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM) in Portland, Oregon.
Her career has been marked by significant contributions to functional medicine education. Prior to joining FMP Essentials, Dr. Kunz served as a Clinical Content Developer at the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM) for over 5 years, where she was instrumental in developing the Cardiometabolic and Bioenergetics Advanced Practice Modules, as well as teaching courses. Her work has helped practitioners achieve certification and gain expertise in key areas of functional medicine.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Kunz enjoys running, cooking with locally sourced ingredients, and exploring the Pacific Northwest.
